Welcome, I am proud you have taken the first few steps to well-being, and am honored that you might consider working with me. As a mental health professional, I believe in humanities capacity for growth, our need for connection, and our desire to be heard and understood. I foster a collaborative environment within my work where questions and honest feedback are encouraged and accepted. I strive to be genuine, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance, curiosity, and empathy.
I obtained my MSW (Master of Social Work) degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2017, as well as bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Sociology (2014). I have years of experience in treating a wide range of clients from children learning how to cope with life’s difficulties to adults exploring healthy coping alternatives. My areas of interest and specialty include trauma and attachment, helping other’s build a positive, healthy, self-image and satisfying, healthy, connections in life. I feel confident in working with those facing depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I have experience working with members of the LGBTQIA2+ community, teens, adults, individuals, families, and couples.
If you are curious about working together, I encourage you to reach out, ask questions, and schedule our first appointment. I will look forward to meeting you.
