I am a licensed psychologist providing individual therapy to adult and adolescent clients, and completed my Master’s and Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from University of St. Thomas. I am a generalist clinician who provides therapy to adults and adolescents experiencing mood, anxiety, relational, trauma, gender identity, transitional, academic and career concerns.
Additionally, I also provide psychological and educational testing for individuals experiencing learning disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, emotional concerns, and other difficulties that might be getting in your way.
Together, I believe we can find ways to lessen the impact of these barriers and help you find your own strengths and path to success. I thoroughly enjoy helping individuals gain insight and growth to overcome obstacles in their life. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy whether they are seeking a supportive person to talk with, are experiencing a challenging life event or transition or are struggling with their mental health.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, empowering, genuine and non-judgmental and interventions are adapted to the unique needs of each individual. I believe that through a strong therapeutic relationship, new experiences, insight, and adapting thoughts and behaviors, we can all live happier and healthier lives. My approach to therapy is an integration of CBT and contemporary psychodynamic theory rooted in a multicultural and feminist framework. Through increased understanding, insight, and support individuals from all walks of life are empowered to make healthy changes in their lives.
