I am a dually licensed therapist for mental health and chemical health. I work with adults and adolescents (12 and above). I provide individual, couples/marriage, and family therapy for mental health, chemical health, or co-occurring needs.
I achieved my Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Integrated Behavioral Health and Addiction Studies. I have been a licensed therapist since 2010. I consider myself to be a generalist able to treat a variety of concerns. I began my career working in a trauma-informed care center treating trauma and co-occurring addiction in multiple populations. I continued my career working in a community mental health clinic where I was exposed to multiple anxiety, mood, and thought-related matters. These experiences have contributed to my adoption of relational-cultural theory and psychodynamic approaches to inform my theoretical orientation. In addition, I am able to offer Prolonged Exposure and EMDR to help heal trauma and anxiety.
I take pride in developing safe, collaborative, transparent, empathetic, and trustworthy therapeutic relationships. I strive to use the relationship to connect, reflect, explore, and empower my client(s) to authentically choose how to respond in all life circumstances.
I look forward to working with you.
