Welcome! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in individual and couples psychotherapy. Life often throws the unexpected at us, and I partner with clients to navigate whatever challenges arise along the way.
I obtained my master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and my bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Although I identify as a generalist practitioner, I am drawn to working with university students, young
professionals, and individuals/couples facing life transitions.
I am passionate about assisting clients of all backgrounds and identities in leading meaningful lives. Through a whole-person approach, I meet clients where they are within their healing journey. I believe that authenticity, humor, and connection are important aspects of the therapeutic relationship.
My clinical background is rooted in working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or relationship concerns. Trained in Level I Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, I see value in approaching therapy from a mind-body framework, and enjoy working with clients to expand awareness and understand how our bodies organize in relation to our emotional experiences. I am also trained in Level I and II Gottman Method couples therapy, and utilize tools from this approach when assisting couples in exploring relationship dynamics.
Embracing our humanness is something I emphasize regularly, both in session, and in my day-to-day life. My priority is creating a safe, open, and comfortable environment for this to occur. I would love to talk further about my approach and how we can work together toward your goals.
